Absolute Pandemonium: A Memoir by Brian Blessed

IN KEEPING WITH THE SPIRIT OF THE MAN HIMSELF, I PROUDLY TYPE THIS REVIEW IN ALL CAPS!

IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING AT ALL ABOUT BRIAN BLESSED, THEN THIS BOOK PRACTICALLY SELLS ITSELF.  LIKE THE AUTHOR, THE BOOK IS GENIUNE, HEARTFELT, SOMETIMES PROFOUND, AND ABSURD IN A WAY THAT ONLY BRITISH HUMOR COULD BE.  WITHIN THIS BOOK YOU’LL FIND HONEST DISCUSSION ABOUT HIS PARENTS, HIS EARLY YEARS, PETER O’TOOLE, KATHARINE HEPBURN, HIS INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCES MAKING FLASH GORDON, HIS TIME ON STAR WARS, AND HIS LIFE LESSONS ABOUT DEATH… WHICH ISN’T NEARLY AS MORBID AS IT SOUNDS.

BLESSED’S NARRATION IS JUST ONE MORE REASON THEY MAKE AUDIOBOOKS, ADDING ANOTHER DIMENSION TO EVERYTHING I’VE ALREADY MENTIONED.  ALL IN ALL, THIS BOOK IS A WINNER FROM START TO FINISH, AS BOISTEROUS AS YOU IMAGINE.
