Good Things

It’s nice when I can report good things.  What else is a personal blog for, after all, if not that?

At work, that arbitrary March 1 deadline of stupid I was up against has been nullified.  I completed the “rush” portion of the project early.

At home, I got rewarded for that deadline.  My good friend Samantha Wilcoxson was kind enough to send me a proof copy of her new book so I could beta read it.  I’m happy to report that the book found its way safe and sound to me today.  Thank you!

I’m notoriously slow when it comes to reading, which is why my weapon of choice is usually the audiobook, but I do so love the excuse to put a good old fashioned paper book in my hands… as if I ever need an excuse.  I’m fairly certain I’ll have this read and reviewed before the book makes its official debut in April.  Possibly by March if things work as I hope they will.  I happen to have all of this Tudor-era music around here, so I think I’ll crank up a playlist and dive in.
