Welcome and Site Updates

Happy Sunday!

As I’m prone to do periodically, I want to extend a warm welcome to those of you who are new to this blog.  A hundred gazillion points of interest on the interwebs, and you picked me.  And probably a few dozen others too, but still… I’m flattered, and I never take it for granted that you feel I have something to offer.  Thank you.

I’m in a really good mood today.  We’re getting some much needed rain, and what a welcome relief it is from the blistering heat!  Add to that, it’s still quiet.  Always a plus.  Even better than that… the long wait is over.  Today’s the day I get to see the stage production for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Love Never Dies, the sequel to The Phantom of the Opera.  I finally got to see Phantom a couple of years ago, so I’m beyond excited to complete the journey.  Phangirl flail!

I’ve been updating the home page for this site.  For some reason, amidst all the other things I post there, I never thought to post a “schedule” for the regularly recurring blog projects.  Most of my projects are completely timed on whimsy, but there are some that drop regularly.  Important to note that, I think.  Better late than never, right?  Not that anyone will see it.  After all, we all read the feeds and current posts, but the home page?  Near as I can tell, most people just have that update the latest posts and call it good.  Whatever works, right?  For myself, I use it as a kind of personal bulletin board.  Even if nobody else looks at it, it’s good for me to update it periodically.  Makes it look like I’m accomplishing something if I move things around a bit.

Along the same lines, I’ve been doing a lot of small edits to my About Me page, and I think that’s finally added up to something a little more presentable.  Best foot forward, after all.

Incidentally, I’m always open to good ideas if anyone has any.  Feel free to offer some, or I may just steal borrow them from your blogs as I come across stuff.  :)
