National Geographic: How Science Helps Us Understand Gender Identity

A friend passed this on to me (thank you!), and it’s so well done, I felt compelled to share.  It’s a near-perfect response to Trump’s “war” on the transgendered, especially in combination with all of the laws in place already to protect against sexual discrimination that he’s trying to redefine and overwrite.

I’ll also say the outrage in response to Trump has been amazing and encouraging.  But like anything else where he’s involved, I wonder how long that’ll last before he distracts with something else.  This is why it’s so important to see the larger picture: he’s a liar, a bigot, and unworthy of being a world leader.  Those who support him are liars, bigots, and unworthy to be world leaders.  Those who vote in support of this have no conscience.  People are losing their freedoms and their legal status as human beings.  That never ends well.  It’s up to all of us to stop it.  If we don’t, then unless you’re in the golden circle of the elite and powerful 1%, you’re in the line right behind people like me.

Only by standing together can we defeat this kind of evil.

  1. It is scary how much harm he is doing to our country. This goes beyond political parties, this is basic right and wrong. If we allow an unstable man to destroy someone’s gender, the very essence of who they are, what else will he try to do? Enough is enough!

  2. You and I had a grand discussion on my blog not too long ago. You know I maintain a page of information on the psychic that provided the data that we were discussing.

Would you believe me if I told you that the LGBTQ+ issue is larger than science, itself? Would you believe me if I told you that souls have no gender, just the bodies they inhabit? Would you believe me if I told you that during the time of Atlantis, we were incarnate without any gender & we had no children? Would you believe me if I told you that sex, gender & baby birth came at a later time of our collective agreement? Would you believe me if I told you that we plan our ‘lives’ in advance of being born?

The psychic no longer has access to the Akashic…long story…but, the LGBTQ+ is a movement for change…on SO many levels. As we evolve on this planet, and as Earth, herself evolves, many, many brave souls made the tough choices to come into lives that challenge the status quo.

We need to be awoken & reminded of what we truly are…souls having a human experience. You are very brave & you, by your actions, are showing the rest that gender is a choice…or, not…and that we should all live in peace.

    *hugs* 🤗❤

    • Well, as I said before, you’d be surprised what I’ve experienced firsthand. I walk in knowledge of exactly who and what I am, and of how I got here. Knowing doesn’t make it easier. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the ideas behind what you’re presenting. But Atlantis is the past, and they fell. We’re repeating their failure, faster and less enlightened, on a great many levels. The more people are reminded of anything these days, the more they scoff and resist. It’s why I don’t bother to push. I work what I can, where I can. People… vex me. But I appreciate the spirit of intent. Thank you. *hugs*

  3. I truly love that we’re (for the most part) starting to worm our way out of the dirt and into the sunlight on the spectrum of gender. I don’t love that there’s some fool with boots on, trying to push us back in, because it doesn’t meet with his (or his cronies) ideals. Great bits of education – reposted to Facebook.
