Modern Age Myths

In days of old, early humans looked at the world around them and into the sky, trying to make sense of that which was all around them.  Their stories told of legends, of gods and monsters, and of the heroes who rose up to challenge them.  Their stories were told and retold across cultures and across the ages.

Olympus and its gods gave way to Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.  As the clock turned and the age of chivalry passed, the questing knight transformed to suit the times.  Some wore masks, others wore capes.  Some wielded powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men.  Some were mere mortals who rose to the challenges around them.  All of them have been celebrated across the decades in every medium of entertainment imaginable, remade time and again in the minds of those who would find new meaning in everlasting archetypes for an ever-changing world.  These are the modern age myths.
